Environmental Policy

Improvement of the environment forms an integral part of our business philosophy and values. Pulp-Tec Limited designs and supplies fully ecological, environmentally friendly packaging made from bio-degradable, recyclable, compostable moulded pulp.  Therefore, we are dedicated to provide quality services to all our stakeholders in an environmentally responsible manner.

We are determined to minimise the environmental impact of our operations and will achieve this through our commitment to:

  • Comply fully with all legislation and regulations established for the protection of the environment
  • Promote principles, procedures and practices through an environmental management system which will enhance environmental protection
  • Regularly review the environmental impact of all our activities in order to minimise waste, prevent pollution, improve resource efficiency and continually improve environmental performance and sustainability
  • Involve and motivate all employees through environmental awareness training and environmental procedures that will enable all staff toperform in environmentally responsible manner
  • Continue to work in an environmentally responsible way with our key suppliers to encourage them to achieve best practice

Equality and Diversity Policy

Pulp-Tec Limited is dedicated to encouraging a supportive and inclusive culture amongst the whole workforce. It is within our best interest to promote diversity and eliminate discrimination in the workplace.

Our aim is to ensure that all employees and job applicants are given equal opportunity and that our organisation is representative of all sections of society. Each employee will be respected and valued and able to give their best as a result.

Pulp-Tec Limited equality and diversity policy is fully supported by senior management and has been agreed with employee representatives.

Our policy will be monitored and reviewed annually to ensure that equality and diversity is continually promoted within the workplace

Health and Safety Policy

The health and safety of our valued employees is of the utmost importance.  Therefore, we are committed to providing a work environment where we strive to eliminate or control risks that have the potential to cause injury to employees or others who may be affected by our business practices.

We are committed to:

  • Setting the policy
  • Establishing safe systems of work and providing safe work areas with appropriate health and safety signage
  • Identifying hazards, Incorporating risk assessments and taking action to reduce or eliminate risks
  • Ensuring all employees are trained, informed and competent to fulfil their job requirements
  • Ensuring that all personnel work in a safe manner
  • Protecting the work environment and ensuring a safe means of exit
  • Providing comprehensive health and safety training, information and supervision
  • Producing and publishing accident statistics

Our Management Philosophy is that:

  • All accidents are avoidable and can be prevented
  • Safety is as important as production
  • All employees share responsibility for his/her own safety and that of others
  • Safety rules must be published and observed by all employees

To ensure continuous improvement in health and safety objectives, we encourage active participation, co-operation and involvement of all employees in risk management processes. More detailed policies have been written which take account of legislative requirements and industry best practice.

Pulp-Tec Ltd is registered in Scotland. 

This privacy police is written in compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act, 2018 and in terms of Data Protection Laws we are a ‘Data Controller’. This privacy policy covers how we use any personal information that you provide to us and explains the data processing practices that we have adopted.

In order for Pulp-Tec Ltd to function effectively as an organisation we need to process data relating to suppliers, customers, employees and potential customers. Our legitimate reasons for processing your personal data is to ensure that we function effectively as an organisation, for auditing purposes, to perform business activities and to enable us to meet our legal requirements under Data Protection Law.  Your data will be used for administrative, statutory, commercial and marketing/promotion purposes and will be collected and held in accordance with GDPR. We will only ever ask for information that is absolutely necessary and does not constitute an invasion of privacy.  Your data will be processed in accordance with any agreement, contract or potential contract we have with you.
